Hi all! I'm in, but can't post pictures because we are without digital camera (courtesy of my sister-in-law, who lost it within 30 minutes of my husband handing it to her...let's not go there).
But, am happy to report that I finally got gauge on my Karabella Soft Tweed (I'm knitting in the turquoise color, purchased online from Flying Fingers.) I am usually dead on the money when using the recommended yarns, but my first two attempts at swatching were far, very far from the pattern gauge. I finally e-mailed Kate Gilbert in frustration, asking if maybe, just maybe there was a typo? No, there is no typo, but Kate very nicely encouraged me to go down yet one more size of needles, because it is supposed to be a really firm fabric.
So, thanks to my addi size 5s (5s!), I finally have gauge and can hopefully start sometime this weekend. I have a birthday knit for one of my nieces that needs to get finished by April 1, so my jacket will be a sidebar project for a month, but it will be fun to watch all of you tear on ahead and follow in your wake.
And sometime soon we'll buy a new digital camera! My husband just needs to come to terms with the fact that our other one isn't coming back...
